Manage Course Menu - Add Tool Link

The Course Menu appears on the left side of your course window. Allows users to add tools such as discussion board, email and etc. to the course area that will link directly within the module.

  Note:  Do not create a button that is more than 18 characters long because it will look like a new button.

1. Ensure Edit Mode is ON

2. Point to the plus sign above the Course Menu and the Add Menu Item drop-down list appears

3. Click on Create Tool Link

3. Type a Name for the link (i.e. My Grades) and select the appropritae tool link name from the Add Menu Item drop-down list . Available to Users check box to enable users to see the link on the Course Menu.

4. Click Submit
