The Grade Center and Grading Assignments

Weight Grades in the Grade Center

The Manage Items page allows the Instructor to modify Grade book items and select the order for them to appear in the Grade book.  Items that have been created in the Blackboard Learning System (Tests, Surveys, and Assignments) must be removed from the area where they were created.

1. Click on Control Panel


2. Click on Grade Center


3. Click on the Weighted Total Column

4. Click on Modify Column

5. Select the columns and/or categories to include in this weighted grade, then set the weight percentages. Percentages should add up to 100%

6. Click Submit
