Modify Blackboards Welcome Page

Modify Content

Both faculty and students can change the content that is displayed on the welcome page.  Information from Roosevelt (My Organizations, Roosevelt Student Announcements and Welcome to RUOnline can be displayed when you first login to Bb.  To update these settings, follow the below directions.

1.  Once you are logged into Blackboard, click on Modify Content.

2. Select the modules you would like displayed by checking the box.

3. Click Submit

Modify Layout

Faculty and students can change the way their page is layed out. By changing the direction of the items mentioned above or change the color.

1. Once you have selected your modules from above, click on Modify Layout.

2. You can then change the order and selected which items you would like viewed on the left or right side of the screen by highlighting the item and clicking the appropriate arrows.

3. To change the colors, scroll down and select which them you would like.

4.  Click Submit
